FRIDAYS FOR FUTURE
TORONTO

Join us to fight for REAL traffic solutions!

The Ford government is lying about traffic. They say they will fix it by removing bike lanes, putting cyclists in cars. This will make traffic worse. They say they will fix it by paving over farmland and Indigenous territory with a new highway. This highway will clog up with more cars, it will not work.

While they lie and distract, thousands of cars are sitting stopped in traffic every day, spewing carbon dioxide in the middle of a climate crisis. Our future is at stake.

Urban planners know what actually works: building more transit, and cycling infrastructure. Both are much more efficient than car lanes, alleviating traffic and commute times.

Bill 212 is removing climate and traffic solutions, not creating them!

That is why, on December 7, we will be outside of the office of Christine Hogarth, the PC MPP for Etobicoke-Lakeshore, protesting the insane Bill 212!

There will be two portions of this event. There will be a ride starting at the High Park North Gates at 2:00 PM. That ride will go across Bloor and down Islington to the office of Christine Hogarth, MPP at 195 Norseman St.

The second portion will be a protest starting at 3 at that office. There will be music and speakers. Bring signs if you can!

We need your help! Spread the word however you can! Let's show Ford's government that we see through their lies!
